This weeks episode, is all about Goin' out West.

Galway, is a city on the west coast of Ireland, that is world famous for a few things, it's Oyster Festival, it's Arts Festival, and of course the week of the Galway Races each July. Horses, Craic, and Gambling.

It's home also to the Galway Bay Brewery, who recently, like many Irish sports teams, athletes, and food producers, have been punching above their weight on an international stage over the years. So much so they took home Bronze for their Sweet Milk Stout, Buried at Sea at the recent World Beer Cup. Those who fancied a flutter before hand could have even got the inside line if they found this article in time!

It seems that every year when the Galway Bay Brewery bus tour was on, Janice & I would always be away. So it was just our luck this year when we were able to go on this years trip.

So in this podcast, we're going to taste this award winning beer, and chat about the latest news in the Irish Beer Scene, and our most recent #Hopical topic.

The link to the World Beer Awards winners is here
